3. Watch the Sunrise or Sunset at Haleakalā
Wake up early and head above the clouds for a sunrise you won’t forget. The views from the summit are incredible and unlike anywhere else on the island. Sunrise or sunset is a great option.
4. Go Snorkeling
Get in the water and see what’s beneath the surface. Maui’s clear waters offer the chance to spot tropical fish, coral, and Hawaiian green sea turtles.
5. Get Out on the Ocean
Try sailing, paddleboarding, or a snorkeling experience from a boat. Seeing Maui from the water gives you a whole new appreciation for the island. Especially in the winter during whale season, when the humpback whales are here all the way from Alaska!
