Ready to Rappel Down a Maui Waterfall? Here’s What to Expect.

If you’re considering waterfall rappelling in Maui’s rainforest for the first time, you probably have questions—and that’s a good thing. Whether you’re feeling excited, nervous, or somewhere in between, the truth is: this adventure can be life-changing.

For many of our guests, this is their first time waterfall rappelling in Maui. You don’t need climbing experience or special skills to join us. What you do need is a sense of adventure and a willingness to try something new. We take care of the rest.

Led by Experienced & Certified Guides

Our certified guides are trained to walk you through every part of the experience. We start on dry ground, where we teach you how the gear works, how to move on the rope, and how to communicate with your guide while you’re rappelling. Once you’re comfortable, we head into the rainforest and guide you through a series of rappels, including one down a natural waterfall. Along the way, you’ll hike through lush trails, swim in freshwater pools, and learn a bit about the island’s unique ecosystem.

Safety Is Our Top Priority

All equipment is inspected daily, and every tour is led by professionals who are not only experienced in technical rope work but also trained in first aid and emergency response. We keep our group sizes small (about 8 people) so you get personal attention and time to build confidence before each rappel.

And yes—it’s normal to feel a little intimidated at first. But after your first descent, most guests are amazed at what they just accomplished. (Just check out our reviews!) And the location can’t be beat! The Garden of Eden is aptly named! (Click HERE for more info on the location.)

The feeling of stepping back into nature after conquering a rappel is one you won’t forget anytime soon.
